Outdoor Watering

From May through September, water use in our region nearly doubles, primarily for lawns and gardens.  Experts estimate that 50% or more of this water goes to waste, due to evaporation, runoff or simply overwatering.

The partner agencies of Cascade Water Alliance can help this summer with a new FREE Rain Sensor Program, as well as rebates designed for commercial and multi-family customers.

For a limited time, Cascade offers customers with in-ground irrigation systems free rain sensors and up to $50 towards the cost of installation with selected irrigation contactors.  Rain sensors save water by shutting off your irrigation system when it rains. For Redmond commercial and multifamily customers, there are rebates for upgrading existing irrigation systems with rain sensors, weather-based controllers and other hardware to increase the efficiency of the system.  For information and qualifications, please check www.cascadewater.org/
